Cathryn Campbell, MBA, MSS, LSW, PCC

For more than 20 years I have been supporting adults to thrive in life, relationships, and work.

In addition to being a Licensed Social Worker in PA and holding a Master in Social Services from Bryn Mawr College, I bring the additional complementary perspectives of an MBA from Wharton, a professional coaching certification, and nineteen years of personal mindfulness practice and training led by some of the most highly respected meditation teachers including Jon Kabat-Zinn, Larry Rosenberg, Pema Chodron and Jack Kornfield.

In contrast to the insight-focused therapy models that are widely offered in our area, in my practice I mainly utilize Acceptance and Commitment Training/Therapy (ACT).  ACT is a pragmatic psychological model aimed at developing psychological flexibility and increasing our ability to make choices and take actions that work for us.  Significant research and my personal coaching and clinical experience are showing that ACT is highly effective and beneficial for a wide variety of struggles including:

I am passionate about alleviating suffering, and improving the well being, of all those who battle inner struggles and am effective in working with a wide range of adults and couples from all walks of life.  In addition, as a former Vice President of a Global Fortune 500 company, I have significant insight into the unique challenges of executives, leaders and professional couples, and I specialize in working with all “Type As”.
